OLAJTERV Contracting and Engineering Co. Ltd. is the Hungarian market leader and a significant Central and Eastern European design enterprise in the oil and gas industry. Almost all major systems in the oil and gas industry of Hungary has been implemented with the participation of OLAJTERV. The National Oil and Natural Gas Trust (OKGT) establishes its central design-development department. |

From the previous department (with experts from the oil industry departments of the uranium industry design office and the company for designing chemical plants) the Oil and Natural Gas Design and Engineering Company (legal predecessor of OLAJTERV), to fulfil general engineering tasks oil and gas industry investments. The design work of this company consisting of eight departments can be found in all major investments of the sector. The Danube Refinery in Százhalombatta, the oil and gas industry facilities in Szeged, the Barátság II crude oil pipeline, the Tisza oil refinery, and the expansion of the national product pipeline system are in the focus of the General engineering activities. |

OLAJTERV establishes an independent general contracting organisation and starts major projects: construction of the TESTVÉRISÉG II gas pipeline, construction of Kiskunhalas main line, inert gas pipeline construction. |

Using Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technology with the help of carbon dioxide for the first time in Europe at the Nagylengyel oil fields. |

The start of implementing projects outside the hydrocarbon industry:

- water supply for communities /e.g. Győrszemere, Bánd-Herend/
- sewage treatment plants /e.g. Balatonfüred, Badacsonytomaj/
- design and construction of industrial plants, laboratories, housing, and swimming /e.g. Budapest, Kerepestarcsa etc./

Construction of a waste incinerator in the framework of general contracting. The plant is capable of handling hazardous, chemical and pharmaceutical waste (Dorog). |

Olajterv joins the works related to the Paks NPP by preparing the general organisation for the implementation of block 5 and 6. |

The start of export design services in developed industrial countries in Europe. The founding of the first joint venture with foreign co-ownership (TECNIMONT Kft.) alapítása. |

After the change of the political regime Olajterv becomes a limited stock company and is owned by ÁPV Rt. |

MOL Rt. „buys out” olajterv from ÁPV Rt. ownership (90 % MOL Rt., 10 % MRP ownership). |

Olajterv acquires the ISO 9001 certificate and establishes the most modern computer system in the country. |

Olajterv Rt. creates OLAJBER Rt. (larter OTF Contracting Co. Ltd.) from its general contracting organisation with the participation of the management (Olajtev Holding Kft.), BKG, EGL, and Vegyépszer owning 10-10% of the shares. |

Olajterv management buys MOL's share and a significant part of MRP's share. |

The privately owned Olajterv Asset Management Ltd. buys a significant share in Olajterv Rt. and performs a major increase of capital. |
